SEZELA Mill Lab has once again been awarded as the Best Mill Laboratory in the entire South African Sugar Industry, scoring an average of 97.92% on the final average results for VHP Sugar and Molasses. This is 4% ahead of the runner up, Eston sugar mill.

Sezela has maintained this number one spot since 2009, indicating consistent attention to detail and focus on continually improving. Well done to the team (PICTURED) on a notable achievement. The Sugar Milling Research Institute (SMRI) organises the inter-laboratory testing programme for the sugar mill laboratories. It has the aim of improving and maintaining the required skills to analyse sugar factory products and ensure a consistent standard throughout the industry.
