Engineer-In-Training

The Illovo group administers an Engineer - in - Training programme for graduate engineers in various disciplines. The programme is well structured and allows graduates the opportunity to gain experience through the practical application of their studies, under the guidance of an allocated mentor. These trainees follow a formalised programme over a period of 3 years, after which they are integrated where possible into an engineering management position within the group, subject to their performance. The following career opportunities may be available immediately after finishing the EIT Programme: Plant Engineer, Assistant Production Manager, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Instrumentation Engineer, Projects Engineer, Distillery Process Engineer and Process Engineer. All these position are graded as MM D2.
